Delhi Politics intensifies at Hanuman Temple

The Delhi BJP has demanded that the Delhi government re-design the scheme of beautification of Chandni Chowk and re-establish the Hanuman temple there. The AAM Aadmi Party has said that the BJP-ruled MCD has earlier demolished the hundreds of years old Hanuman temple and is now accusing the Aam Aadmi Party of avoiding public outrage and hiding its heinous crime.

The tussle between bjp and Aam Aadmi Party over the Hanuman temple, which broke down during the ongoing beautification at Chandni Chowk in Delhi, is on the rise. The Congress has also jumped into the fray.

Hindu outfits demonstrate at Chandni Chowk

In fact, the work of beautification is taking place at Chandni Chowk for which the Hanuman temple there has been demolished. Politics is now intensifying on this issue.

Delhi BJP President Order Gupta said, “The party will soon meet Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to seek intervention in this regard for the reconstruction of the temple at Chandni Chowk.

The order says Gupta had opposed it by the local RWAs, stakeholders, market associations, trade unions when the beautification work started, but the Delhi government did not stop working. Delhi BJP MLA and leader of opposition RamVeer Singh Bidhuri have said that the temple’s breakdown will hurt people’s faith and worsen law and order, so the temple should not be demolished.

Aam Aadmi Party lashes out

Aam Aadmi Party leader Durghesh Pathak turned down on bjp’s allegations that “the BJP-ruled MCD first broke the hundreds of years old Hanuman temple at Chandni Chowk and is now accusing aam aadmi party of avoiding public outrage and hiding its heinous crime. The BJP Delhi state president and the bjp’s big bjp leaders are directly responsible for breaking the ancient temple. These must be dealt with strictly for this heinous crime.”

Suresh Pathak claimed that “an affidavit has been filed by the BJP-ruled municipal corporation in the court saying that the temple remains on encroached land. Hanuman temple under the patronage of Delhi police,” Pathak said.

Congress encircles AAP and BJP

The Delhi Congress has held both the MCD and the Delhi government responsible for the demolition of the temple between you and the BJP over the Hanuman temple. Delhi Pradesh Congress President Anil Chaudhary said that “both parties are accusing each other while the fact remains that the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has removed the temple with the consent of the Delhi government.” Chaudhary said that under a similar process, alternative places should be provided to displace a religious structure/temple if it is demolished.
